You are bidding on the game-used lineup card that hung in the Brewers dugout during the game between the Milwaukee Brewers and San Diego Padres on April 20, 2021. The Brewers defeated the Padres 6-0, as Milwaukee's offense delivered a five-run 3rd inning to support Corbin Burnes on the mound behind his record setting performance. According to Elias Sports Bureau, no starting pitcher has struck out more batters to start a season, without issuing a walk, than Corbin Burnes. The mark goes all the way back to 1893, as Burnes passed Adam Wainwright in 2013 who had struck out 35 before allowing a walk. Burnes' record stopped at 40 at the end of his six scoreless inning outing, in which the Brewers pitcher struck out 10 and allowed just four hits. Next up for Burnes is Kenly Jansen, who set the all-time MLB record for strikeouts to begin a season with 51 before the Dodgers relief pitcher issued a free pass in 2017. Milwaukee got on the scoreboard with a solo blast from Billy McKinney and added to the lead in the 3rd inning with a two-run double from Travis Shaw and a two-run single from Omar Narvaez. The lineup card measures 11" x 17" and is authenticated with a MLB hologram sticker.
To ensure authenticity, the hologram can be reviewed online at http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/authentication/ by entering the hologram number listed above. This process helps to ensure that the product purchased is 100% authentic.
