You are bidding on the game-used lineup card that hung in the Brewers dugout during the game between the Milwaukee Brewers and Washington Nationals on August 17, 2019. The Brewers defeated the Nationals 15-14 in a back-and-forth, 14-inning marathon that lasted over five and a half hours. The Brewers raced out to a 5-0 lead, and later lead 8-5 before the Nationals charged ahead with homeruns from Trea Turner and Howie Kendrick. Trailing 11-8 in the 9th inning, Christian Yelich, Mike Moustakas, and Ryan Braun reached homered to grab a 12-11 lead. The Nationals tied the game with a Juan Soto RBI single in the 9th and a Victor Robles RBI sacrifice fly in the 13th inning, after Yelich hit his 2nd homerun in the top half of the 13th. Thames' two-run blast in the 14th would prove to be the difference as the Brewers hung on for the victory. Yelich's two-homerun game put him at #40 and #41 for the season, making him just the second player in franchise history to reach 40 homeruns and 20 stolen bases in a single season (Ryan Braun 2012). The lineup card measures 11" x 17" and is authenticated with a MLB hologram sticker.
To ensure authenticity, the hologram can be reviewed online at http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/authentication/ by entering the hologram number listed above. This process helps to ensure that the product purchased is 100% authentic.
